Burr Oak State Park • Glouster
A day of fun on land and in the water, food, music and education are on tap at Burr Oak State Park on Saturday, August 6 from 9:30am to 9:30pm beginning at Tom Jenkins Dam (pictured above) the 1950’s era dam that contains the waters of the East Branch of Sunday Creek to create one of the region’s most picturesque locations. Events are schedule at five different venues, which will also serve as a pick up site for a “not your ordinary poker run” where boaters, kayakers and other floating vehicles can pick up playing cards before a final Poker Run winner is announced at Burr Oak Lodge at 7:30pm where live music will be featured.

- 5 mile moderate/strenuous hike from Tom Jenkins Dam to the Burr Oak Lodge around the lake
- Hikers can meet at the lodge and carpool to the dam
- Hikers can drive to the dam (parking limited)
