The second annual Morgan County Heritage Day is set for this Saturday, October 15 in McConnelsville for a day of history and fun.  Morgan County has a very proud history and wants to show everyone why with this great day. The festivities start at noon and go until around 6. Come out and see the events including a jet ski simulator, a disk golf mini course, pumpkin decorating, cider pressing and much more. Along with this ODNR is bringing activities as well, with native wildlife skins and skulls, Woodsy the Owl and Smokey the Bear. To keep everyone entertained as well, there will be two popular local bands on the main stage: John Wetzel and the Blues Cowboys, and Rick Shriver’s Gypsy Ensemble. Finally, to make sure no one leaves hungry, there will be an assortment of home-made food including: chicken and noodles, soup beans and cornbread and much more.  All promises to be a great day of food, fun and music.
