OWR SNAPSHOT: Wildcat Hollow

on

In an ongoing series, we are traveling throughout the OWR region on short day-trips to find and share its natural beauty. Today’s post comes from Audrey Tompkins:

Wildcat Hollow Trail is tucked away off State Route 13 towards Corning. There are two trails offered- a 17.2 mile scenic loop for backpackers and a 5 mile loop for casual day hikes. Both loops showcase a variety of scenic stops and, if you’re quiet enough, wildlife sightings. Wildcat Hollow is known for its abundance of wildflowers, but visitors are asked to not pick any plants while hiking. Camping and campfires are permitted, but the preservation of the forest is a top priority so some regulations do apply. For more information on Wildcat Hollow, learn more here.
