2023 Seed Grant Applications Open

on

2023 marks year five of the Ohio’s Winding Road Seed Grant program. In those five years the program has awarded over $40,000 to artists, craftspeople, small businesses, and non-profits.
The funds have been used for such things as: the creation and printing of labels, radio ads, lighting, farm stand building, guided tour development, printing and the repair of bicycles later donated to youth.

The Ohio’s Winding Road (OWR) Network again has funds available for producers of authentic experiences and products representing these nine counties of Southeastern Ohio: Athens, Fairfield, Hocking, Meigs, Morgan, Muskingum, Perry, Vinton, Washington. Funds are for the development and/or marketing of authentic products and experience products.

Our focus is on outdoor recreation/environmental learning, products that can be included in the OWR Marketplace, and products related to our Trail Town communities, but applications for other authentic and experience products are welcome.

Requests up to $750 are accepted, and applicants can be businesses, non-profit organizations, individual interpretive guides, and individual producers.
