Tour de Forest Benefit Bicycle Ride

Ride for History’s Sake! The 14th Annual Little Cities Tour de Forest takes riders on journeys through the the forested hills of the Little Cities of Black Diamonds microregion beginning and ending at the Hocking College Recreation Center in Nelsonville on Saturday morning, May 4th. Set your course distance on the level rails-to-trails Hockhocking Adena Bikeway or take mapped courses of 30 mile (road), 54 mile (gravel) and 72 mile (road, coined the ‘Metric Century’) routes into the coal mining towns to the east up Sunday and Monday Creeks. This non-competitive event raises funds for the collection and sharing of the rich history of the Hocking Valley Mining Region at the corners of Athens, Hocking, Morgan and Perry Counties. Event registration includes morning granola bar from Fullbrooks Cafe, a souvenir t-shirt or other item, and a hearty lunch upon return.
