History and entertainment come together in this fascinating behind the scenes look at the beautiful and historic Opera Houses of Nelsonville (Stuart’s Opera), Shawnee (Tecumseh Theatre) and McConnelsville (Twin City Opera House) that are nestled among the hills and winding roads of Southeast Ohio. Explore the integral and enduring role these institutions play in their communities through live music, historical re-creation characters, theatrical performance and authoritative guest speakers accompanied by tour staff well versed in local history and historical interpretation.
Highlights include an evening performance of the Ohio Valley Opry at the Twin City Opera House along with dinner and lodging at the fantastic Stockport Mill.

Tour Specifics: Van transportation provided from the Rocky Boots lot where guests may leave their car.Tour includes lunch, dinner, and breakfast. Snacks will be provided. Moderate exertion will be required, including considerable walking and stair climbing, which limits accessibility, however every possible effort will be made to accommodate our guests. Room rates vary and will be booked on a first come first serve basis.
Cost: $195 per person plus lodging – regular room $110 or jacuzzi room $195 (king or queen).
